After the decades-long global momentum toward constitutional democracy, we have in recent years been observing its reversal as institutional and constitutional constraints on government have been weakened, and human rights have been afforded less protection.
The Visio Journal Vol. 6 will explore these and other related questions to better understand the impact that the coronavirus pandemic has on the protection and implementation of the human rights.
Support for the authoritarianism among both political elites and the public across Europe is spreading and growing. The next issue of The Visio Journal shall explore the question of whether liberalism is able to stand its ground against the backdrop of increasingly present authoritarianism in Europe.
