Economic think tank INESS – Institute of Economic and Social Studies – based in Bratislava, Slovakia, has started accepting donations also in digital currency, Bitcoin, as one of the first European think tanks. INESS’ Bitcoin account number (also in the form of QR code) can be found in the donation section of the Institute’s website.

INESS, which was founded in 2006, is the most frequently quoted economic think tank in Slovakia with more than 800 media appearances per year. The Institute’s online slots goal is to promote free markets and individual liberty, and educate about the economic relationship between the citizen and the state. INESS has received recognized international awards – two Templeton Freedom Awards and Golden Umbrella Think Tanks Award.
