LFMI to Hold Conference Can We Do More to Boost Lithuania’s Competitiveness?

The Lithuanian Free Market Institute is pleased to announce a conference Can We Do More to Boost Lithuania’s Competitiveness?, which will be held on July 9, 2018, in Vilnius in cooperation with the Heritage Foundation and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania.

The conference will focus on the economic environment of Lithuania in the context of the global economy and will highlight the preconditions for the success of competitiveness, evaluate the work done and the plans envisaged, as well as identify the most important economic policy decisions in order to successfully compete with the economies of other countries.

The event will be opened by Virginijus Sinkevičius, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, and feature presentations and a discussion session with renowned guests and Lithuanian experts, including Ambassador Terry Miller from the Heritage Foundation, USA, and Simeon Djankov, Director of the Office of the Chief Economist of the World Bank and co-author of The Doing Business Index.

The conference will take place at Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania, 51 Gediminas Avenue, Vilnius, Lithuania.

The working language will be Lithuanian, with simultaneous translation into English.
