The Liberální Institut has been organizing the Mises Academy of the Liberal Institute (MALI) since 1996. It is an annual event where we debate with students such topics as economics, politics, history, philosophy, among others.

The eighth year of the Seminar on Austrian Economics organized by INESS was traditionally held in the Mojmírovce manor on March 15 to 18, 2018. Here, 29 students from various universities from all around Slovakia and the Czech Republic got together.

The 8th annual Liberty Seminars will be held between September 23-28, 2015 at Hotel Jezero, Lake Bohinj, Slovenia. The event is a life-time opportunity to DISCUSS, PRESENT & DEBATE human rights, markets, public policies and law in breathtaking scenery of the Julian Alps.

Gold-plating is a term that describes the process where an EU directive is given additional powers when being transposed into the national laws of member states - a quite common approach in any EU state. The seminar will reflect upon this issue and give an overview of positive approaches on how successful EU countries deal with the problem and what kind of procedures they have implemented. The goal of the project is threefold: first, to identify theoretical role of an entrepreneur, second, to determine the influence of religion, history, culture, tradition, values on the image of an entrepreneur in countries of participants, and third, to design publicity campaign for facilitation of the spirit of entrepreneurship and image of entrepreneur as that of a creator and innovator among youth.

The participants of the Liberty Seminars Slovenia are challenged every step of the program, as small group discussions, presentations, and group debates provide an excellent platform for sharpening the mind and skills.
