The Lithuanian Free Market Institute (LFMI) ranks the sixth best think tank in Central and Eastern Europe in 2020 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report released by the University of Pennsylvania. LFMI is also among top 1 percent organizations in the world, ranked in the 126th place.

“[...] [T]hink but not make thoughts your aim”, to quote Kipling. Thinking is important, but if it is not followed by action, ideas will forever wander aimlessly in the cerebral labyrinth of neuron paths. Why then do we still have think tanks and not more do tanks?

Elena Leontjeva, Co-Founder and Chair of the Board of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute (LFMI), will serve as the organization\'s president. Elena led LFMI since its inception until 2001.

LFMI and Atlas Network are inviting you to spend two days discussing how to best attract more financial resources for the European liberty movement. This summit will feature eight discussion sessions on fundraising models, practices, and looming trends for the exchange of ideas among think tank CEOs and professionals from across Europe.

On the 25th anniversary of LFMI, the Vilnius-based think tank welcomed CEOs from Atlas Network partner organizations across Europe and the United States for the inaugural Transatlantic CEO Summit, a premier offering of Atlas Leadership Academy.
