Heat waves, droughts and heavy rain: Germany is beginning to experience the impact of climate change. Although heat waves are not a new phenomenon, the changing climate means that they are becoming more frequent and lasting longer. This is particularly noticeable in the cities, where more and more often, the heat is becoming intolerable in summer.

During the critical periods of the pandemic, governments were forced to implement a number of security measures that fundamentally affected the daily lives and freedom of the population. However, the public’s compliance with these measures depended heavily on the trust they placed in government institutions.

What is money? It was invented by people for serving them to save their earnings. Is it okay for anyone to lose 75% of their earning in less than 25 years? Where is the durability of the currency? Maybe it is time that free people choose the best money freely?

Recently, the Polish Minister of Education, Przemysław Czarnek, announced the creation of a new mandatory school subject called “Historia i Teraźniejszość” (“History and present times”). The coursebook that was written by a former PiS EU Parliament deputy, Wojciech Roszkowski, specifically on that purposes includes numerous political and ideological biases, presenting “the one and only, proper” worldview inclined towards the policy of Polish government and based on values such as radical Christianity, homophobia, Euroscepticism and stigmatization of left-wing activism.

The current iteration of the perennial problem of holes in healthcare roughly takes the following form. The budget may have increased in 2021, but virtually all of the increase was eaten up by covid measures. In addition, €232 million was frozen at the end of the year because of “deferred care”. On the contrary, this year an additional 100 million for state insureds, 120 million for the insureds of the National Health Insurance Fund and 145 million hoped for from higher premium collections are to come.
