Cryptocurrencies are here to stay. As we find ourselves in the digital transformation, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the topic of cryptocurrencies no longer should focus on their stereotypes, or if they are a worthwhile investment but rather on how we can educate and integrate cryptocurrencies into our everyday lives.

Globalization is to often blamed for the results of bad policies, especially those which hamper individuals’ adjustment to new pressures, and those which encourage them to take excessive risks.

However, it has broader social and economic implications, which are often overlooked, especially in countries with a heavily centralized government structure such as Bulgaria.
