INESS in collaboration with the American Language of Liberty Institute (LLI) and Czech branch of Students for Liberty (SFL CZ) organized the eighth consecutive international educational event, the 2014 Liberty Camp.

During October 1-3, 2014 in Sopot (Poland) was held European Forum for New Ideas. Liberte!, the project by Fundacja Industrial had an honour to be a partner of the event.

The 7th annual Liberty Seminars are being held September 22-27, 2014 at Lake Bohinj, Slovenia. This is a life-time opportunity to DISCUSS, PRESENT & DEBATE human rights through a lens of economics, public policy, history, philosophy, and law in breathtaking scenery of the Julian Alps.

The Hungarian Free Market Foundation started an exciting new project which helps exactly with this. Be Free with English is an innovative language course which improves English skills through the medium of fun, pro-liberty materials.

For the fifth time, Institute of Economic and Social Studies INESS was honored to organize event commemorating Milton Friedman.

Every one of us pays taxes daily and yet only a few could tell how much exactly they pay in taxes per month or per year. The Lithuanian Free Market Institute (LFMI) launched a new tax calculator “Moku mokesčius” (“I Pay the Taxes”), which not only allows Lithuanians to see how much they pay in taxes but also shows how their money is then spent.

INESS released an English version of The 2014 Universe of Public Expenditures, a poster with a graphical representation of all public expenditures financed by taxes and contributions. It enables one to understand the relationships among the individual items of public administration.

‘Hungary and the European Union after the European parliamentary elections’, a conference organized by Republikon Foundation with the support of Friedrich Naumann Foundation, was held on June 11, 2014 in Budapest. The event was part of the Foundation’s project ‘Lessons learned from EP elections 2014’.
