You have probably noticed that the world \"globalization\" evokes passions and even protests. \"The rich become richer and the poor are poorer!\" shout some of protesters. \"Globalization causes the loss of national culture and identity,\" is shouted by others. But is globalization really dangerous? Does it need to be slowed down or regulated?

So far, the COVID-19 pandemic has had little effect on the German housing market. It has left barely a mark on real estate prices or rentals. But the pandemic is not over yet, and even if it was: the past months have triggered some developments that will transform our working world and are likely to have a considerable impact on the housing market in the long term.

The financial wealth of Slovaks is calculated in about tens of thousands of euros, as a matter of fact, the wealth of Slovaks lies in the bricks of their houses. A house or a flat is a money-making property only for a very small number of Slovaks. Income from capital will push the inequality rate higher.
