Republikon Institute organized a conference during which political analysts, activists, and representatives of Hungarian opposition parties discussed what to expect after the April elections.

The Lithuanian Free Market Institute is pleased to announce a conference Can We Do More to Boost Lithuania\'s Competitiveness?, which will be held on July 9, 2018, in Vilnius in cooperation with the Heritage Foundation and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania.

INESS organized the international conference \"Do Regulations Kill Inovation? on June 19, 2018, focusing directly on the sharing economy, its potential for the future, and regulatory environment issues. The conference was attended by over 100 participants.

INESS has been organizing the Free Market Road Show, an international conference, for a number of years. The event found its way to Bratislava in 2018 again and brought topics stirring the public at home and abroad.

The eighth year of the Seminar on Austrian Economics organized by INESS was traditionally held in the Mojmírovce manor on March 15 to 18, 2018. Here, 29 students from various universities from all around Slovakia and the Czech Republic got together.

On April 19, 2018, the Free Market Road Show visited Warsaw. This year the event took place at SWPS University. The conference began with introductory remarks by Piotr Voelkel (SWPS University), Agata Stremecka (FOR), and Barbara Kolm (Austrian Economics Center).

The Visio institute has just published the second issue of The Visio Journal, which offers several papers analyzing the degree to which the public policies and political institutions of former socialist economies have been supportive of economic freedom following the collapse of communism.

May 11, 2018 – today Lithuania commemorates the Respect for Taxpayers Day for the first time. On this occasion, the Lithuanian Free Market Institute (LFMI) and partners present the Charter of Taxpayer’s Rights, taking the opportunity to remind that taxpayers have not only duties to observe but also rights to enjoy.

The eighth issue of 4liberty.eu Review focuses on personal freedoms and discusses the topic from various perspectives, including: freedom of the press, paternalism, social media, religious freedom, among others. The point of view is, as always, Central and Eastern European.

Closed roundtable discussion organized by the Association for International Affairs. The event focuses on the Visegrad Group perspective on the Society 4.0 and on the Industry 4.0\'s spill-overs to the European Union\'s Internal Market.
