The team from Liberte, the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting and Bendukidze Free Market Center, with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, continue to monitor Ukraine’s progress or regression on its path to the EU on a monthly basis.
With the help of leading experts, we conduct research in the following key areas: the rule of law, free movement of goods and the customs, digital transformation, social policy and the labor market, entrepreneurship and industrial policy, as well as transport policy.

The project is distinguished by its focus on the acquis of the EU, rather than the requirements of the Association Agreement. In addition, we take into account not only existing and planned legislation, but also the progress of implementation, in order to obtain a more realistic picture of Ukraine’s accession progress.
